  ONE

It was the end of another twelve hour day as corporate lawyer, Valentine Dai shut down her computer and stared into the shadows of her darkening office. Everyone in the firm had left for the weekend, twittering about the fact that tomorrow was February 14th, St. Valentine's Day.

Valentine hated all the romantic bother that was associated with the day. All of her single girlfriends were planning a “Sex in The City” night out on the town with the singular attempt to snare unsuspecting but willing males and her married friends were all planning romantic rendezvous.

“It's all bullshit and another excuse to spend money,” she sighed while grabbing her coat and turning off the office lights.

Valentine had grown to despise Valentine's Day mainly because her parents had decided to curse her with a name she had spent her childhood being teased and bullied about.

She had shown them all however, by becoming one of the most powerful corporate attorneys in Maple Ridge. Tall and lean with long legs, a full head of wavy blond hair and ice blue eyes, she used her looks to disarm clients and then move in for the kill in the courtroom. Her moniker was the “Ice Princess” and she loved it. Valentine had everything she ever wanted or dreamed of; looks, money, power, and respect but she was single and alone.

Her friends were always trying to fix her up with an assortment of what she considered to be weak minded, weak willed men who relied on their pocketbooks rather than intellect or personality to win a woman's heart. As far as Valentine was concerned, she enjoyed her freedom and if there was a man out there who could best they would come along when she wanted them too and not before.

“Besides,” she thought as she unlocked the door to her black luxury car. “What can any man do that a glass of good red wine and an assortment of girls toys can't?”

Valentine stopped by a local gourmet grocery store on the way to her penthouse condo and purchased an assortment of fruit, cheese and caviar. When she brought her purchase to the cashier, the young woman smiled up at her and said; “Looks like someone is planning a romantic evening with all these goodies!”

“No, someone is not!” she remarked. “I take care of my own needs thank you.”

  “I just bet you do.”

Valentine turned to see a very tall, handsomely dressed, dark skinned man with an ivory smile nodding and standing close behind her. Too close for Valentine's liking.

  “Excuse me?” she said sharply.

“You seem like the type who enjoy her own company. Lucky you.”

Valentine was stunned that a complete stranger would speak to her in this manner. She had never seen this man in her neighborhood and wondered where he had come from. The man continued to smile and placed his bag of groceries on the counter to be purchased.

“Do I know you?” she asked.

“Not that I am aware of. I just moved here from out of town. Starting up a new business. Love this neighborhood.”

The tall dark man eyed Valentine and gave her quick wink before turning to face the cashier. Valentine gathered her bags and quickly walked out of the grocery store, flabbergasted by the insolence of the stranger.

“And people wonder why I choose to be single?” she muttered while making her way home. She was still shaking her head upon arriving at her building.

“Evening Miss Dai. How was your day?” The kindly old door man asked as Valentine walked through the front entrance of the building she lived in.

“Fine, just fine thanks Mr. Emery. Goodnight.” Valentine swung one of her bags over her shoulder and headed up the elevator to where her quiet penthouse lay waiting for her. She did not even have any pets to greet her when she arrived home. Valentine thought pets were a nuisance, like children.

After throwing her grocery bags on the center island of her kitchen, Valentine peeled off her well heeled boots and coat and stripped where she stood.

“One of the joys of living alone.” she thought happily as she walked around the kitchen in her pale pink slip and silk stockings. Her grey, cashmere, tailored suit and jacket lay crumpled on the floor for the housekeeper to send to the cleaners in the morning.

Once the groceries were put away for her own, private Valentine's Day celebration she poured a large glass of red wine and walked to the window.

The street below was dark and barren without a soul in sight.

“I love the city at night. It's so quiet.”

As if to snub her, a ear shattering siren voiced a loud cry as an ambulance and police are sped quickly from one side of the block to another. Disgusted, Valentine closed her drapes and sat down heavily on the black leather couch. With her drink in hand, she picked up a small remote on the coffee table and clicked a red button, relaxing into the couch once the sounds of jazz filled the air.

“Much better,” she sighed as she took along swallow of wine.

The hour was late and the wine tasted delicious but Valentine felt on edge and she just could not relax. With a sly smile, she picked up her wine glass and moved into her bedroom. She had personally decorated it in soothing greens and vanilla colors and had chosen some very specific, very expensive furniture. The chaise lounge sat at the foot of her sleigh bed which was dressed in soft and luxurious high thread count sheet and a down duvet.

Valentine set her glass of wine on one of the night stands and lit several lavender scented candles. The room was soon filled with the heady, floral scent and was glowing with warm, yellow light.

Sitting just under the bed was a small, ornate looking, wooden chest. Valentine carefully lifted the box removed the lid. After taking another drink of wine, she placed he hand inside the box and removed a small clear bottle of personal lubricant and several pink and purple colored sex toys.

Valentine felt her body twitch in anticipation of what she was about to do. She slipped the dainty slip she had been wearing down her shoulders and body, letting it pool at her feet in a river of pink. The stockings she wore were deftly removed from each slender, milky white leg and dropped next to the slip.

She took her time removing the rose coloured lace push up bra and thong panties, stroking her warm flesh as she did. By the time Valentine was completely naked, her tiny nipples were swollen and flushed deep red; her thighs were quivering and she knew her body was ready.

Laying back against a pile of satin pillows, Valentine reached for the bottle of lubricant and poured a few drops on outstretched finger tips. Her blonde maned head dropped back and her lips parted as she reached between parted legs and slowly drew her fingers back and forth over the slippery pearl like button of her clit.

“Feels good,” she groaned. Valentine was very familiar with how her body could and would react to each touch. The electricity that warmed her belly and core came as no surprise but she always enjoyed the sensations. With one free hand, Valentine pinched and rolled her erect nipples, causing a tingling sensation between her legs. She played like this for a few minutes until her breathing quickened and after dipping a finger deep within, she smiled knowing her body was ready for more.

After raising one finger to her parted lips, she licked at her own juices that had made her index finger slippery and mo
ist. “Oh, you are so ready.” she whispered.

Valentine turned to one side and looked over the colored toys she had removed from the wooden box. Without hesitation she picked up a bright pink, fleshy looking dildo. It was short but round and thick, made to fill her up with it's width rather than length.

This toy was her favorite and had put any real male member to shame. She warmed it between her hands and ran her tongue along it's fat, protruding head. Her clit twitched and ached for the dildo's familiar touch.

Reaching down, Valentine ran the pink fleshy toy over her lips, barely touching her swollen clit.

“Fuck yes,” she responded as the sensations grew more intense with each touch. Finally, Valentine drove the fat, pink dildo between her legs, deep with her wetness causing her hips to buck upward as if they had a mind of their own.

Her labia lips were stretched wide as she continually plunged the wide dildo in and out of her core. Valentine knew all she would have to do is pinch one nipple hard and her orgasm would be assured.

“Not just yet.” she thought. “Tonight I want more.”

Valentine removed the dildo with an audible wet “pop” and rose up on her knees. She leaned forward on her elbows and reached behind with one hand, pushing the dildo slowly between her buttocks until slowly but surely it entered her puckered anus.

“Fuck me!” she squealed. Valentine loved the full feeling of the dildo in her anus. Without any further penetration she left the dildo poking out from behind her and one hand to furiously rub her vibrating clit. The sensations left her breathless and moaning for release.

Faster and faster her finger rubbed and tweaked her clit until she felt as if her body would explode into a million pieces. A wave of sensation came over her culminating in one large, body shaking orgasm. “Yes! Yes!” she screamed into her satin pillow. Collapsing onto her belly the dildo slid out from behind and landed on the floor. Valentine's body was damp with a thin layer of sweat and she reveled in the heat dissipating from her belly, down her legs to her toes.

She lay like that for a moment before collecting herself and walking very slowly into the master bathroom for a quick, hot shower.

“Tonight I will sleep like a baby.”

  And she did.

  TWO

Valentine woke with a start. A loud knocking at her door and the phone ringing were not sounds she wanted to wake up to, especially on a Saturday morning.

“Alright! Hang on!” she yelled. After rolling over and seeing the time, she groaned. It was nine o'clock and she had slept it. Normally by this time she was up and at the gym. Valentine hated it when her schedule was disrupted.

She hastily grabbed the red, silk robe at he end of of her bed and tied it tightly around her waist as she ran to the door.

“For god sakes!” she exclaimed as she opened the front door to her weekend house-cleaner; a tiny Asian woman called Anna.

“Sorry Miss Dai but my key did not work for some reason.”

“You are just lucky I was here this morning Anna. Come in please and we'll have to check that key. I may have to cut you a new one.”

The petite woman dressed in a pale blue uniform shuffled in with all her cleaning gear. Valentine left her to her work and walked to kitchen. This morning she felt a strong need for coffee. She grabbed her phone and noted that the caller had left a message.

  “I'll get to it later.”

Valentine ground some of her favourite dark roast beans and smiled as the coffee began to brew. “That aroma is like nothing else,” she thought as she inhaled the strong, almost chocolate like scent that filled the air.

A small dollop of cream was all Valentine added to her coffee. Any sweetener or sugar was an insult to what Valentine felt coffee should be.

For a brief moment, her mind flashed back to the man who had spoken to her in the grocery store. “He may have been attractive if only he'd kept his mouth shut.” Valentine murmured as she sipped her coffee. The man's dark skin and chocolate brown eyes had captured her attention. He was was tall and seemed fit and almost turned her head. She took an instant dislike to anyone who would presume to speak down to her.

  “Such is life.”

After a small breakfast of fruit and yogurt, Valentine made her way back to her bedroom to check her email on her laptop and decide what she wanted to accomplish today. She needed a distraction to keep her mind off the fact that it was St. Valentine’s Day and she was spending it alone.

Nothing too important had come through her email, except an invitation to a new club. Valentine’s closest friend was Christine. Christine accepted Valentine for who she was and she was only person Valentine trusted in her life. They knew one another since childhood and although they were in different professions; Christine was a social worker, they always managed to keep in touch. The short curvy red head was a distinct physical opposite from Valentine but her positive attitude and bright smile could brighten any funk Valentine found herself in.

“Maybe a drink out with Christine would be a nice change of pace.” Valentine thought as she replied to her friends email. A night out at a new club and an excuse to wear a sexy dress was a pleasant thought for Valentine on a day where couples were the the focus.

After asking Christine to meet her at her penthouse for a pre club drink, Valentine decided to get in a quick workout at the gym and then spend the afternoon primping for her evening out.

“It's been too long since I've had a proper manicure,” Valentine though silently as she dressed for the gym and head out the door, leaving the house-cleaner to finish the task at hand.

Valentine's Day was going to be all about Valentine this year.

  THREE

The penthouse was silent when Valentine returned home later that afternoon. She was pleased with her freshly tipped and colored nails and the workout was just what she needed to make her feel fit and sexy for her evening out. It was only five o'clock so Valentine decided on a small snack before getting dressed and ready for Christine's arrival.

The caviar was well chilled and so plump and delicious as Valentine spooned a small amount into her mouth. “Delightful!” A small glass of chilled vodka warmed her mouth and belly and set the pleasant mood that Valentine hoped would remain throughout the evening.

“Now, what shall I wear?” she commented aloud. Valentine's closet was brimming with designer suits and dresses. Tonight she wanted to dress to impress...herself.

After searching throughout her closet for something she considered sexy and something nobody had as yet seen her in, Valentine settled on an off the shoulder, form fitting, black wool dress with black silk stockings and thigh high boots. Beneath her outfit she decided to wear a thin black lace push up bra and matching thongs. With her butter colored hair pulled up and clipped high off her long neck and a simple pair of gold hoops in her ears, Valentine thought the affect simple, elegant and sexy. She was very pleased with her long, lean silhouette.

Valentine was taking one final look in the mirror when the door buzzer indicated that her long time friend Christine had arrived. Excited, Valentine's rushed to the door.

“Val!” Christine's face broke into a broad grin as she reached up to hug her tall friend. “You look amazing!”

Valentine returned the warm greeting and ushered Christine inside, helping her remove her winter coat. “You look wonderful hun, how have you been?”

Valentine surveyed Christine and usual, she was impeccably dressed to suit her petite but curvy figure. Christine was dressed from head to toe in a soft, chocolate brown short skirt, jacket and matching lace camisole. “Love your shoes!” she commented.

Christine smiled and shook her dark brown, well heeled ankle boot in Valentine’s direction. “Aren't they something? Got them on sale for a steal!”

Thy made an enticing, contrasting pair; blonde and red head; different yet decidedly female.

“Come in the kitchen and let's have a martini before we head out. Where are we going by the way?”

Christine sat down at the small glass and wrought iron kitchenette and watched with amusement while Valentine retrieved the fixings for vodka martinis.

“Well one of my friends at work suggested this new club. Her brother just moved back from the states and has now opened this fantastic new club. They have a fabulous DJ and apparently all male bartenders. It should be awesome!”

Valentine loved her friends exuberance and laughed ash she passed her a martini with a lemon twist. “Here you go my dear. Sound great. I just hope we can stay away from the obvious drooling females who will be all over the bar.”

Christine took a sip of her drink and shook her head. “Not tonight Val. I have tickets to the advance opening of this place. It is for invited guests only and they have some kind of unique floor show. Should be interesting.”
